The Samsung Galaxy A51 has been collecting the required certification from various agencies for the past weeks ahead of what appears to be an imminent launch. We recently also got out first renders of the phone which revealed it will boast a centered punch-hole display and L-shaped quad camera setup.

The latest clue comes from the Bluetooth certification agency which signals that we are closer to the official release. The device passed with the SM-AF15F/N model numbers and the only notable info that we got from the listing is that the phone will feature Bluetooth 5.0 support.

Previously, the A51 passed through Geekbench which revealed it will ship with the Exynos 9611 chipset just like the regular A50 alongside 4GB RAM and Android 10. More recently, we saw another certification which revealed the A51 will ship with a 4,000 mAh battery.

According to other rumors, the phone will feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 32MP selfie camera and UD fingerprint reader. The quad-camera setup will be headlined by a 48MP main shooter alongside a 12MP ultrawide camera, 12MP telephoto module and 5MP depth sensor. The phone is expected to go on sale in the early days of 2020.

BLUETOOTH® SIG Qualification Program

A device incorporating Bluetooth® wireless technology must undergo testing according to the Bluetooth® SIG Qualification Program in order to classify as a licensed product with the Bluetooth trademark. Although a self qualification process is allowed, the support of a BQC eliminates errors in qualification and assists members with submission of their products for qualification.

Scope of Bluetooth® Qualification services include:

RF/RF-PHY Conformance Testing for BT Core 2.0-4.2
Profile Interoperability Testing using the Bluetooth® SIG’s PTS (Profile Tuning Suite) Test System
Product vs. product interoperability testing
